What We Collect

Promethean collects minimal data. We believe your reading habits are your business, not ours.

• Newsletter subscribers: If you subscribe to The Morning Brief, we store your email address and the date you subscribed. Nothing else.
• Analytics: We use Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics, which do not track individual users, do not use cookies, and do not collect personal information. We see aggregate page views and country-level traffic data only.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
• We do not build reader profiles or behavioral models
• We do not use third-party analytics platforms that track individuals

Newsletter

When you subscribe to The Morning Brief, your email address is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Emails are sent via Resend, a transactional email service. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that immediately removes your email from our list.

We do not track email opens or link clicks within newsletters.

Third-Party Services

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp) as part of operating their network. These logs are subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

AI-Generated Content

Our articles use AI-assisted research and writing tools. This process does not involve any reader data. Your reading activity is never used to train AI models or inform content generation.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@promethean.news. For newsletter subscribers, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email immediately removes your data.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll note the change date at the top. We won't materially change how we handle your data without notice.
